Thinking of Fenella...

A year ago today we lost the iconic Cult British actress, the most fabulous Fenella Fielding OBE. I was lucky enough to spend some time in the recording studio with her as she recorded the narration of my book 'Angel Bright', it was to be her final project and I was honoured that she'd agreed to do it, she was still working regularly at the age of 90 and did many sell-out events reading from her recently released memoirs 'Do you mind if I smoke?' Most people remember her for her role in the classic comedy film 'Carry on screaming' but she was so much more than that. She starred in films, theatre productions (some written specifically for her), television and radio for over 60 years, she played all the ladies of classical literature and was in much demand for voice work, in fact she has one of the most instantly recognisable voice on the planet.

Cheers Fenella and thank you x
